Acceptance of yourself and your personality is key to knowledge, and as you grow in knowledge, you will learn how to best manage by truly being open-minded and accepting each person for their own skill set and contributions to society and the workplace. Your job is to best manage while, at the same time, develop employees to their fullest potential. The Unit I Assignment has two parts.Part I: Personality TestUsing the internet, take a personality test of your choosing and review the results. Then, write a paragraph response explaining whether you agree with the results. Did the results surprise you? Did the traits list coincide with your current position or aspiration to lead? How will you use this knowledge to benefit yourself and your company?Examples of personality tests include Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, Neo Pi-R, Eysenck Personality Questionnaire, and Projective Measures. You may select one of these or locate one of your choosing.Save your personality type results for later use near the end of this course. Include a link to the personality test you choose, but you do not need to submit your results for this assignment.Part II: Diversity SWOTUsing the results from your personality test, create a diversity SWOT analysis supported with research and visual representation. Start with a table listing the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT) of your personality type.As part of your SWOT, include how your personality type interacts with diversity. The purpose of performing a SWOT analysis is to reveal positive forces that work together and potential problems that need to be recognized and possibly addressed. Identifiers include perception, differences, conflicts, social identities, interpersonal communication, and inclusion.Once your table is complete, write a two – three paragraph explanation of your SWOT analysis and how you and your personality type can support diversity in the workplace. As part of your explanation, include the ways in which diversity is changing with the U.S. population and how that will impact how you can support diversity. Include at least one outside source.FormatYour completed assignment (parts 1 and 2) must be a minimum of two pages in length. Use at least one outside source. Adhere to APA Style when creating citations and references for this assignment. APA formatting, however, is not necessary.
